An original storyboard / production material from the 1982 movie Tron, likely created around 1980. This piece (pen and tape on bond drawing stock, with a pencil note reading “2-4 6x” in the bottom right corner) captures an early vision of Tron’s virtual world, depicting three racing Light Cycles heading toward a hole in the Grid.
The top left section (showing the hole and vertical wall) is a separate sheet of paper, cellophane-taped over the main drawing of the horizontal grid — a classic hands-on production technique of the era.
