The White Mountain collection was one of the first Silver Age comic book pedigrees. Built by Kennett Neily between 1948 and the 1970s, the collection came to prominence in the early 1990s when a large portion of it was sold through the first Sotheby's auctions dedicated to comic books. It made History with some of its Silver Age comic books selling for unprecedented prices (Sotheby's, 1991; Overstreet's, 1991). The White Mountain collection is also reputed for its video games (see our other Ads).
