The TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Ref. CV2010 is a contemporary interpretation of one of the brand’s most historically significant models, this watch is in an excellent overall condition, in proper workin order and full set.
Originally launched in 1963 and named after the Carrera Panamericana road race, the Carrera line was conceived by Jack Heuer as a legible, functional chronograph for professional drivers. The CV2010 reference, introduced in the early 2000s, stays true to the spirit of the original design while integrating modern features and automatic chronograph functionality. This chronograph is full set, with its box and guarantee card dated Dec., 2005.
This chronograph has a 41 mm stainless steel case with screw-down sapphire caseback and sapphire crystal on the dial side, both in excellent condition. The case shows only light signs of use and retains its original finish. The overall dimensions and build reflect the modern Carrera’s blend of heritage styling with contemporary robustness. The original black dial has vertical bi-compax chronograph counters at 12 and 6 o’clock, with a continuous seconds sub-dial at 9. The date aperture with quick-set is at 3 o’clock. The luminous hands and applied baton hour markers ensure high legibility. The dial is free from any visible defects, and it is in a near-new condition.
This watch is powered by the TAG Heuer Caliber 16, based on the Valjoux 7750 architecture. This self-winding movement has a 42-hour power reserve, 25 jewels, and a cam-actuated chronograph system. The 7750 is widely used across the industry and is known for its reliability, accuracy, and ease of servicing. This Carrera is offered on its original stainless steel bracelet with TAG Heuer folding clasp and it has an overall length of approx 19 cm.
