This vintage Omega wristwatch, ref. 2536-10, dates to 1950 it is a reliable and well-constructed timepiece with a steel case, screw-in caseback and a fully serviced manual winding movement. The case measures 35.4 mm in diameter excluding the original crown. It has a screw-down caseback and is in very good condition, it still has its original finish and shows only light signs of use. The plexiglass is in excellent condition.
The silvered dial is original and has applied red gold baton indexes and matching hands. The small seconds sub-dial is at 6 o’clock. The dial has developed a very light and even patina over time, lending it a warm tonality, it has only a very small blemish near the 10 o`clock marker and it is in an overall excellent condition
The watch is powered by the Omega Caliber 265, a hand-wound movement derived from the renowned 30T2 family. Introduced in the late 1940s, the Cal. 265 was built for accuracy and ease of servicing. Its robust architecture and proven track record make it a respected choice among vintage Omega aficionados.
