Kininvie distillery is still a relative newcomer in the whisky game, having opened its doors for the first time only in 1990, but that’s not to say it doesn’t know a thing or two about what constitutes a fine dram. This 17 year old is testament to that, distilled in 1996 and matured in a combination of American oak and sherry casks.
