Think Tank is Blur’s final album before the band disbanded for several years, and you can hear that tension throughout the record. The group essentially imploded during the recording sessions, creating a very particular atmosphere: a sense of fragmentation, exhaustion and the feeling of an approaching end. The music blends experimental rhythms, spacious production and emotionally distant vocals, reflecting the band’s internal struggles.
A must‑have for collectors who appreciate albums with a strong narrative and unmistakable mood. Plus, the cover and inner paintings come from Banksy :).
And everyone who thinks Oasis were better should listen to the track "Jets" on this LP (the Gallagher brothers would sell their souls if they could create something this brilliant).
