Introduced in the mid‐1970s as part of Longines’ Admiral line, the ref. 2323 2 represented the brand’s effort to align an elegant yet sporty design positioning the Admiral as a bridge between dress and sport watches.
This watch has a 36 mm stainless steel case (measured excluding the original crown), which is in very good condition with only light wear consistent with its age. The caseback screws down securely and has correct reference numbers engraved.
Its mineral crystal shows no visible damage. The original silvered dial with applied baton and a date window at three o’clock is in an excellent condition, with almost no time patina or signs of aging. Under the dial resides Longines caliber 6651, a self‐winding movement known for its reliability and accuracy with 17 jewels, a center automatic rotor, and a frequency of 28.800 vph that balances performance and durability.
This watch is fitted with its original stainless steel integrated bracelet and folding clasp, measuring approximately 20 cm overall. It shows light traces of use and it complements the case reinforcing a period‐correct style. This watch has been serviced in‐house and is in good running order.
