Discipline marks one of the most radical reinventions in King Crimson’s history. It was a complete rebirth of the band with a new lineup and a new sonic philosophy. This album introduces the legendary quartet of Adrian Belew, Robert Fripp, Tony Levin, and Bill Bruford, a configuration that would define Crimson’s 80s sound.

The music is sharp, interlocking, polyrhythmic: a fusion of art‑rock, new wave angularity, and progressive precision.
