Yamaha XSR 900 | 32 kW | A2 Suitable | Full Power Possible |

 I am considering selling or trading my 2016 Yamaha XSR 900.

First things first, I genuinely love this bike. The CP3 engine is fantastic, full of character, strong where it matters and simply great fun to ride. The only reason I am considering a change is that I want to do more longer distance touring with my wife, so I am looking for something bigger and more comfortable for riding together.

SALE, TRADE OR PART EXCHANGE WELCOME

I am very open to a trade or part exchange for a larger motorcycle better suited to touring and comfortable riding with my wife. Depending on the bike, I am happy to discuss a fair value difference in either direction.

32 kW AND A2 SUITABLE

One of the big advantages of this particular XSR 900 is that it is currently configured at 32 kW, making it suitable for an A2 licence.

You honestly do not feel like you are riding a weak bike. The power delivery is strong down low and through the mid range, exactly where it matters most on the road. The CP3 engine still has loads of character and the bike remains seriously enjoyable to ride.

If needed, I am also happy to return it to full power for the next buyer.

MILEAGE, SERVICE AND MFK

The bike currently has just under 16,000 km on the clock. I still ride it regularly and it will pass 16,000 km next week during my next tour, so the exact mileage will continue to increase slightly.

It is scheduled to go through MFK at the end of the month.

Before then, I will also complete a full service, so the next owner will receive the bike freshly serviced and with a fresh MFK.

CUSTOM WORK AND ACCESSORIES

The bike has been tastefully modified with a mix of visual and practical upgrades, including:

• Stylish side mirrors

• Tail tidy for a much cleaner rear end

• Custom seat work

• Side bags for touring and everyday use

• Tank bag for additional practical storage

• Various additional cosmetic and detail upgrades

• Carefully selected modifications that complement the original XSR design

The side bags and tank bag make the bike genuinely practical for weekend trips and touring, while the custom work gives it a cleaner and more individual look than a standard XSR.

CONDITION

The motorcycle has been well maintained, carefully ridden and properly looked after. It runs perfectly, is mechanically sound, reliable and ready to ride.

A lot of care and attention has gone into the bike. The modifications improve its appearance and usability without taking away from the original character of the XSR.

I am not in a rush to sell. This is not a forced sale and I am not trying to get rid of the bike. I genuinely enjoy riding it and especially love the CP3 engine.

I am simply at the point where I would like something larger for longer trips and more comfortable touring with my wife.
