STUMPJUMPER PRO 1999 — FOR SALE
The little guy 🦖 is now ready for a new home.
After giving this 1999 Stumpjumper Pro a proper summer refresh, it’s finally up for sale.
I wasn’t 100% sure about going 1x9, but it’s working out really well.
The build mixes original vintage character with a few carefully chosen modern touches, including the @ritcheylogic stem & grips, @stridsland_journal stem shim, @bluelug spacers and @oakcomponents seatpost clamp.
The XTR / XT setup works beautifully, and the whole bike has that clean, slightly quirky 90s MTB look that makes it stand out.
The frame, wheels and components are all in amazing shape. The fork has paint coming off, but overall it still works like a fine wine.
And yes… the little guy 🦖 is still my favourite part.
Restored, refreshed and ready for its next adventure. 🚲

STUMPJUMPER PRO 1999 — ZU VERKAUFEN
Der kleine 🦖 ist jetzt bereit für ein neues Zuhause.
Nachdem ich diesem 1999er Stumpjumper Pro einen ordentlichen Sommer-Refresh verpasst habe, steht er nun endlich zum Verkauf.
Ich war mir beim Umbau auf 1x9 nicht zu 100 % sicher, aber es funktioniert tatsächlich richtig gut.
Der Aufbau kombiniert den originalen Vintage-Charakter mit einigen sorgfältig ausgewählten modernen Details, darunter Vorbau & Griffe von @ritcheylogic, der Vorbau-Shim von @stridsland_journal, Spacer von @bluelug und die Sattelklemme von @oakcomponents.
Die XTR / XT-Schaltung funktioniert hervorragend, und das ganze Bike hat diesen cleanen, leicht eigenwilligen 90er-Jahre-MTB-Look, der es wirklich besonders macht.
Rahmen, Laufräder und Komponenten sind alle in einem sehr guten Zustand. Die Gabel hat etwas abgeplatzten Lack, funktioniert insgesamt aber immer noch wie ein guter alter Wein.
Und ja… der kleine 🦖 ist nach wie vor mein Lieblingsteil.
Restauriert, aufgefrischt und bereit für sein nächstes Abenteuer. 🚲
