Genuine Rolex Submariner 16610 Mid Case – A Serial (1999)
For sale is a genuine Rolex Submariner 16610 mid case, A serial (1999).
The middle portion of the serial number is not visible, exactly as I received it when I purchased the case from a well-known professional eBay dealer.
Please read the description carefully:
- The lug holes are ovalized due to age. This does not affect the use of standard fat spring bars, but please take this into consideration before purchasing.
- The bezel and insert were also purchased separately from professional eBay sellers. Both show normal signs of use, so please consider their condition.
- Genuine Rolex case back included. It was purchased separately from another well-known professional eBay dealer for approximately USD 1,000.
- Genuine complete Rolex 3135 balance assembly included. The balance staff appears to be in good condition, but no guarantee is provided, as this is a vintage watch part. I paid approximately USD 800 for it.
- Genuine Rolex 93150 bracelet included. Please note:
- initials are engraved on the clasp;
- the flip-lock dive extension is not Rolex-marked and is therefore most likely a later replacement;
- one bracelet screw is generic;
- end links are not included.
- Click spring assembly is not included.
I originally bought this case intending to learn laser welding and repair the ovalized lug holes. In the end, I decided not to practice on such an expensive genuine Rolex case, so I have decided to sell it instead.
I am not a professional seller. I am simply a hobbyist who enjoys buying watch parts and projects.
Collection in Zurich is preferred or Effretikon.
