The circuit was designed as a back end for monophonic synthesizer voices. The DTA (Discrete Transistor Amplifier) features a signal input, followed by a VCA. The circuit’s volume can be adjusted manually and via CV inputs. One of the control voltage channels comes equipped with an attenuator. Thanks to an adjustable drive stage, the sound character can be varied from clean to crisp and dirty.
