Das Fairphone 3 mit vorinstalliertem /e/OS ist das erste datenschutzbewusste und nachhaltige Smartphone, das vollständig auf Google-Dienste verzichtet. Seit 6. Mai 2020 wird das Gerät von der e Foundation über deren eSolutions-Shop angeboten, wobei der Preis bei ca. 479–480 Euro lag.
Das auf LineageOS basierende Betriebssystem sorgt für maximalen Privatsphärenschutz, während die Hardware durch ihre modulare Bauweise und die einfache Reparierbarkeit ökologisch nachhaltig ist. Der ursprüngliche Verkauf durch Fairphone B.V. endete im September 2021 (Fairphone 3) bzw. November 2022 (Fairphone 3+), doch die Software-Unterstützung durch /e/OS ist bis mindestens Mitte 2028 geplant.
Datenschutz: Keine Google-Dienste, sondern eigene Alternativen und ein integrierter App-Store.
Hardware: Snapdragon 632, 4 GB RAM, 64 GB Speicher, austauschbarer Akku.
Nachhaltigkeit: Faire Rohstoffbeschaffung und einfache Selbstreparatur.

The Fairphone 3, which comes with /e/OS pre-installed, is the first privacy-conscious and sustainable smartphone that does not use any Google services at all.
Since 6 May 2020, the device has been available from the e Foundation via its eSolutions shop, with a price of around 479–480 euros.
The LineageOS-based operating system ensures maximum privacy protection, whilst the hardware is environmentally sustainable thanks to its modular design and ease of repair.
Original sales by Fairphone B.V. ended in September 2021 (Fairphone 3) and
