Early 1900s OMEGA pocket watch pocket movement.
An increasingly rare piece for collectors, enthusiasts and hobbyists.
Although the winding stem is missing, I have carefully wound the watch via the screw on the mainspring arbor. The movement immediately started ticking, without encouragement!
Along with the winding stem, the minute hand is missing.
The movement appears very clean and is signed OMEGA and carries serial number 5177743. Internet research (pocketwatchdatabase.com) indicates an estimated production year of 1918. You may wish to carry out your own research in this regard. The movement measures approximately 36mm by 5mm. The dial measures approximately 42mm.
Perfect for restoration projects or just as a decorative item.
