The headset actually works fine. I check it by listening to three songs long. While listening, I bent or wiggled some parts of the cable, and it didn't affect the music quality. But my partner said sometimes when using the headset at certain angles, it stops working. That would be the cable problem. Other than the cable, the black cushion part sheds off as it is old.
Considering all these, the headset is listed as defective.
