I'm selling my Canyon Speedmax as I purchased 2026 model. This bike has been meticulously maintained and raced by dedicated triathletes who genuinely appreciate the bike and the sport, and comes with documented service history. Here's everything you need to know.
The Bike
- Model: Canyon Speedmax CF SLX 8.0 (2018)
- Frame: Full carbon SLX
- Size: S (fits approx. 170–182 cm)
- Groupset: Shimano Ultegra Di2 (electronic shifting)
- Wheelset: Canyon HADRON² Ultimate 800 carbon deep-section
- Tyres: Continental GP5000 (low mileage)
Condition
No scratches, dents, or damage.
In January 2025 the bike received a full professional rebuild (invoice for the full service — CHF 2'099 - available upon request):
- All bearings were assessed, and worn bearings replaced
- Chainstay repair (transport damage) was carried out professionally and is covered by standard two-year service guarantee valid until December 2026
- A complete custom matte black paint job, with hand crafted gold leaf lettering
The bike has been raced three times since rebuild including at 2025 Ironman 70.3 World Championship.
The bike has several upgrades (original parts will be provided) total spent CHF 250:
- Crank shortened from 170mm to 160mm — shorter cranks are increasingly supported by research for triathlon, improving hip angle and reducing fatigue on the run
- Aerobars replaced with Profile Design 35A extensions (and new pads) providing a wider range of positions for dialing in fit
Bike is given race check service 2 - 3 times per year - last service in November 2025.
History
I'm the second owner. Prior owner is my training partner, who sold it to me in 2024 for CHF 3'500. He had raced it at the 2022 Ironman 70.3 World Championship in St. George, Utah. Both of us have treated this bike as a race tool — serviced regularly and stored properly.
Price
Between purchase price and full rebuild service, I have invested much over CHF 6,000 into this bike. I'm asking CHF 2'500 (ex. fees), because I want it to go to someone who'll use and respect it as both owners before him. I am not trying to squeeze every buck out of the sale.
Who This is For
A triathlete, ideally racing 70.3 or full Ironman, who wants to move to next level of performance optimization with aero platform that competes with even most recent models. Rider height approximately 170–182 cm.
Viewing & Contact
The bike is in Wollerau. Viewing strongly encouraged — come see it in person.
