MACINTOSH FLOPPY SUPERDRIVE 1.44 MB for 3.5 inch floppy disk
The floppy superdrive has been disassembled, cleaned, and lubricated.
The ejection motor gear has been disassembled, cleaned, and overhauled. The broken gear (the one that often breaks) has been replaced with a new one made of hard plastic. In the photos, the gray gear is the new one; you can also see the original broken one.
The magnetic head has been cleaned, and all moving parts have been lubricated with silicone grease.
The drive has been tested and works perfectly.
The drive can also be installed on Macintosh computers that support 800KB drives, but it will not read 1.44MB disks - only 800KB ones.
