THE STORY BEHIND THE DIGITREND OSII
When AMIDA introduced the original Digitrend in the 1970s, it did not look, or read, like a conventional watch. Its display relied on an optical effect: rotating hour and minute discs, reflected vertically through a prism-shaped crystal.
With the Digitrend OSI, we revealed the mechanics behind that vision. The OSII takes it further. Beneath its full sapphire hood, the movement and discs become part of a new architectural expression. Light enters the watch and charges the C1 X1 Super-LumiNova indices, allowing the display to come alive in the dark for the first time in Digitrend history.
