Defect:
The unit operated perfectly until the power supplier failed. According to Yamaha Germany, a capacitor is broken, and the repair should be easy for anyone who knows about electronics.
This receiver is a great value for money. It would be a shame to recycle it, when the repair is so simple and cost effective.
