This Spinnaker x Seconde/Seconde/ “47+3 Phantoms” is a playful yet refined limited-edition timepiece that celebrates the intersection of horology and humor. A collaboration between Spinnaker and the irreverent French designer Romaric André (Seconde/Seconde/), this watch reimagines Spinnaker’s diving heritage through a lens of wit and creativity.
The 47+3 Phantoms draws inspiration from legendary WWII maritime aircraft, blending aviation nostalgia with modern watchmaking. Its standout feature is the handset modified by Seconde/Seconde/ — the seconds hand is replaced with a witty “ghost” motif, symbolizing the “phantoms” of the past that continue to haunt the present.
Housed in a 43mm stainless steel case, the watch features a satin-brushed finish, a domed sapphire crystal, and a matte black dial with vintage-style luminous markers for excellent legibility. Powering it is a reliable Japanese automatic movement (Seiko NH35) with hacking seconds and a 41-hour power reserve.
