This one is close to my heart - the original PSP purchased in the summer of 2005.

Modifications

- custom firmware allowing loading games from memory card was installed

- the front panel was replaced to get rid of scratches

- better/brighter ISP display was installed

- higher capacity battery was installed (few years back)

What works:

- UMD drive, importantly

- display

- speakers

- wifi

- all buttons

What doesn’t work:

- As common with the 1000-line PSPs, the analog stick stopped working at some point. I am including a replacement one for you to install.

- On the left side (next to memory card cover) there is a discoloration of the front panel. Can be fixed by installing the supplied replacement front panel.
