This item is “new, open box”. I ordered two pieces as it was cheaper than buying just one, and I am selling the spare one. The sale price is set at cost for me.
This sale is for a tiny eGPU platform (dock+enclosure). The sale does not include any GPU or the phone, which is shown only for size comparison.
The GPU dock can supply up to 300W to the GPU and is powered via a Lenovo laptop charger (yellow square connector). Part of this sale is a 135W Lenovo adapter that’s powerful enough to run even the most hungry SFF card (4060LP @ 115W).
The enclosure was printed from a technical Nylon 12 using industrial powder deposit method. It was not printed using a standard filament and therefore it has better structural strength and there are no layer lines, giving it a nice texture. Nylon 12 is a great material with strength and flexibility that is also heat resistant.
The enclosure is intended for SFF (half height) cards of 1-2 slot thickness. Examples are the already mentioned 4060LP, or popular professional 70W cards such as RTX 2000 and RTX 4000.
The dock is connected to your computer via Thunderbolt 3/4 or USB 4 cable (not included) and can charge your laptop via PD.
In theory you can also pull the dock out of the enclosure and run full-sized non-SFF cards with it, but then you can likely find a cheaper dock if that’s your plan.
