History: The Kingdom of United Arab Emirates commissioned Rolex for the production of watches with UAE Armed forces Crest for their army, they feature a golden bird (Hawk of Quraish) spreading its wings around a circle of stars. They commissioned the Oyster Perpetual Date in silver and champagne dial like this one in the late 70s, and in early 80s with another reference number.
