This limited edition release from 2017 was matured in hand-picked sherry seasoned oak casks from Jerez and bottled at a higher strength than usual for The Macallan at 58.4% abv. This release was the first in the annual series of Classic Cut releases from the Speyside distillery with one of the finest 'cuts' (the portion of spirit taken from the stills) in the industry.
