Description

An exceptionally rare early Jaeger-LeCoultre Atmos Perpetual, based on the revolutionary invention of Jean-Léon Reutter (1899–1971). This first-generation mercury-powered Atmos represents one of the earliest and most historically significant versions ever produced.

The clock features its original silvered enamel dial with Roman numerals, elegant blued Breguet-style hands and the characteristic mercury-powered perpetual movement that made the Atmos famous.

A complete factory service was carried out by Jaeger-LeCoultre in July 2026, ensuring perfect mechanical operation. The corresponding service invoice for CHF 2,200 is included.

An official Jaeger-LeCoultre Archive Extract has already been requested and is currently in process. It will accompany the clock once issued and will confirm its exact production details.

The sale includes the original instruction manual, the original spirit level used for installation and the service invoice from the manufacture.

An outstanding opportunity to acquire an early Atmos by Jean-Léon Reutter in excellent condition, freshly serviced by Jaeger-LeCoultre and accompanied by extensive original accessories.
