☕ Markengeschichte:
Eine ungarische Manufaktur, spezialisiert auf luxuriöses, handbemaltes und vergoldetes Porzellan. Gegründet 1826, hat sie ihren Sitz in Herend bei Veszprém. Internationale Bekanntheit erlangte die Manufaktur 1851 auf der Weltausstellung in London, wo Königin Victoria ein Service mit Schmetterlings- und Blumenmuster in Auftrag gab, das später als „Queen Victoria Pattern“ bekannt wurde. 1872 erhielt die Manufaktur den offiziellen Titel „Hoflieferant“. Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts belieferte sie die Habsburger und den Adel in ganz Europa. Viele ihrer klassischen Muster werden bis heute produziert. Nach dem Fall des Kommunismus in Ungarn wurde die Manufaktur privatisiert und befindet sich heute zu 75 % im Besitz der Geschäftsleitung und der Belegschaft. Sie exportiert in über 60 Länder, ihre Hauptabsatzmärkte sind Italien, Deutschland, Russland, Japan und die USA.
This is a sophisticated and rare collector's piece from the world-renowned Herend Porcelain Manufactory in Hungary. Unlike their typical polychrome pieces, this plate is crafted in elegant white bisque (unglazed) porcelain, highlighting the incredible detail of the sculptural relief.
