Why not have hydraulic disc brakes :-)?
The bike is well used and the frame has many scratches and scuff marks. The saddle is torn at the front. None of this seemed to slow anyone down and the drive train and brakes are in excellent working order.
The bike is sold with its original tyres, which are in essentially new condition. Please note they are not mounted on the bike.
I asked my LBS to replace the tyres with thinner, lighter alternatives in order to make pedalling easier, and those replacements are still on the bike.
