Die Filter der Basic Linie zeichnen sich durch einen neu konzipierten Drehring mit optimiertem Design für besseren Grip aus, welcher das Ausrichten von Polfiltern erleichtert. Die Filterhalter bestehen aus stabilem Messing und sind mit einer speziellen Funktionslackierung für reibungsloses Auf- und Abschrauben versehen.

Durch den Einsatz von Polarisationsfiltern werden störende Reflexe reduziert und gleichzeitig die Farbsättigung im Bild erhöht. Zudem bleibt die Frontlinse durch den Einsatzdes Filters von Verschmutzungen wie Staub, Sand, Fingerabdrücken oder Kratzern verschont.

B+W Filter stellt mit der Basic Filterlinie seine Verpackung von Kunststoffboxen auf nachhaltige Baumwollbeutel mit praktischem Kordelzug um. Der Basic Zirkular Polarisationsfilter ist in den Größen Ø 37 mm bis Ø 105 mm erhältlich und eignet sich für Weitwinkel- bis Teleobjektive.
