This object is an antique or vintage pewter wine flask, historically known in Switzerland and South Germany as a Prismenkanne or waist-worn wine/travel container. The top loop handled design allowed it to be strapped securely to a belt for carrying during travel.

Design Features: Flared hexagonal/prismatic body featuring an embossed central cartouche with owner initials "CWB".
