Tony McGoldrick has been an avid toy collector all his life. As well as collecting old toys, he has substantial collections of badges, ceramics, trading cards, postcards and autographs. The main theme running through all his collections is that they are TV and film related. For many years, he has been a toy dealer at trade fairs and shows around the country. He has written a regular column in Collector's Gazette as well as writing for Memorabilia.
Toy companies have always been keen to capitalise on the success of television programmes. In this title, the author charts the history of the most successful TV toys from "Muffin the Mule" in the 1950s to "Star Trek: The Next Generation" in the 1980s.
