The Ref. 3712/1A-001 occupies a very special place in the history of the Nautilus collection. Produced for only a very short period before being replaced by the Ref. 5712, it is today considered one of the most collectible modern Nautilus references.
Unlike the later 5712, the 3712 features several subtle details appreciated by collectors, including the distinctive dial layout with the small dot indexes near the moonphase aperture, as well as slight differences in typography and case construction. These small characteristics give the 3712 a unique charm and identity, making it one of the most sought-after transitional Nautilus references ever produced.
