Olympus M.Zuiko 14-42mm Pancake - DEFECTIVE

Olympus M.Zuiko Digital 14-42mm f3.5-5.6 EZ, Pancake lens, Silver version.

Lens condition:

• Optical: perfect, no superficial scratches, internal dust or fungi
• Exterior: barrel in good condition, front side with minor traces of wear
• Bayonet: metallic, like new
• Zoom ring: fully functional
• Focus ring: DEFECTIVE (no manual focus possible)
• Autofocus: DEFECTIVE

I recently bought this defective lens on Ricardo as part of a camera bundle. I am reselling it in case someone wants to try to fix it, or needs spare parts to repair another similar lens. I do not know if the problem is due to a faulty internal wire (a common problem with this lens model) or if the focusing motor is broken.
