This series, officially authorized by Marvel Entertainment, started in 1997 by Franklin Mint with the Amazing Spider-man Collector's Folding Knife issued to commemorate Spidey's 35th Anniversary.
In 1998 and 1999, 2 more classic knives and 3 limited edition were issued to create a limited series with an original display case.
Knives measure around 19 cm. when open and they are of the highest quality and solid weighting around 200 gr. each and features a handle set with a full color enameled pin, styled after the corner box designs that appeared on marvel Comics in the 1960's. Its bolsters are accented in sterling silver and bears the Marvel emblem with the Super-heroes emblem on the blade.
