This tonneau case watch from circa 1971 comes from one of the most underrated and model lineups from IWC Schaffhausen – which means it’s a bargain for watch lovers/collectors. The ref. 1828 is a good and affordable alternative to modern IWCs, and to vintage Omegas and Rolexes. With a rich IWC history, featuring the renowned 845B movement employing a winding system developed by Albert Pellaton. The “silver sunburst” dial and elegant baton markers give this watch a clean design also thanks to this no-date version. The case has a width of 35 mm and an 18 mm strap width. Last serviced in 2019 and stored unworn since then, still runs very well.
