On offer is a fantastic Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul Elegant AAAAA quilted maple top in natural color. The guitar comes with its original hard shell case and case candy. Over the years of owning this beauty I have swapped the original 57 Classics pickups with Wizz Premium Clone P.A.F. set (EUR 440) and replaced potentiometers, capacitor and wiring with a premium boutique set. The rest is all original. The Elegant Les Paul was manufactured between 1997 and 2004 in very small numbers. This guitar was manufactured in 2001. Compared to the Les Paul Standard, all Les Paul Elegant have these special factory upgrades:
- AAAAA (5A) figured top instead of AA or AAA
- Ebony fretboard instead of rosewood
- Abalone inlays instead of acrylic
- Very thin nitrocellulose coat
- Grover tuners
This guitar was for many years with me, has been taken a good care of and was never gigged. The condition is very good, no marks and dings on the top, very small ones on the back.
The guitar can be inspected and tested upon arrangement.
I will not ship it, pick-up only.
Considering what this guitar is the price is a bargain. Please don't offer exchanges or lower prices.
