The ground end component features the form factor of a wireless router. It can be battery powered from an internal 4000 mAh battery that lasts up to 4.5 hours or an external 3S to 6S Li-Po battery, available separately. To operate the aircraft, the system allows you to use your regular 2.4 GHz radio controller and will also receive a gimbal control signal. To view the video feed and OSD overlay you will need an Android mobile device running the Lightbridge app, a free download from DJI. There is a powered USB port on the ground end to connect your mobile device and keep its battery from running down.
Features: Requires Compatible Flight Control System: Lightbridge works with select DJI multi-rotor flight control systems. Compatible flight controllers are A2, WooKong-M, Naza-M V2, and Phantom 2
HDMI and AV Video Input with Full HD Transmission: The air-end module supports both analog composite and HDMI signals. When using HDMI resolutions of to 1080p at 30 fps can be transmitted
Low Latency: The video link features a latency of approximately 150ms. This makes the system suitable for FPV flying and aerial videography, where real-time feedback is essential
Up to One Mile Wireless Range: The air end module supports a line-of-sight range of up to a mile, depending on environmental conditions and other variables. Note: By law, in the U.S. and many other countries, pilot visual contact with the aircraft must be maintained at all times.
Built-in 2.4G Remote Control Link: Not only does Lightbridge relay video and OSD data back to the ground end, it also provides a way of extending the link between the transmitter (hand-held radio controller) and the aircraft. Plus, the Lightbridge system relays the gimbal control signal
