Description
BRITA Classic filter cartridges fit all older BRITA Classic water filter jugs. They do not fit the current/new MAXTRA+ filter jugs. However, the operating principle of the BRITA Classic filter cartridge is the same as for the MAXTRA+ filter cartridges. The water flows through the filter cartridge by gravity, which contains a mixture of ion exchange resin and activated carbon. This process reduces limescale, as well as substances that impair odor and taste, such as chlorine.
