Gino Aldrovandi was one of the leading figures of the golden age of footwear production in Vigevano. Between the '50s and the '70s his production was one of the most recognizable for style and technique. First grade quality and craftsmanship led to important awards such as the Oscar for the best women shoes, awarded by the International Footwear Academy of Turin (1964 and 1970) and the Elegance Oscar in Montecatini (1974)
