Olivier Lavielle is a fan of the period between the ’30s and the ’70s. His world is full of jazz, swing, blues, rock ’n’ roll and a hint of disco. Untouched by the aesthetics of the period, his subjects are best expressed exclusively in black and white. These dynamic compositions are inspired by Hollywood style.
As a private pilot, his aircraft photos express the intimate, special relationship that he has with his toys, as he likes to call them.

Olivier Lavielle est un amoureux de la période des années 30 à 70. Son monde est teinté de Jazz, de Swing, de Blues, de Rock ’n’ roll et d’une pincée de Disco. Insensible à l’esthétique de son époque, c’est exclusivement en noir et blanc que ses sujets s’expriment le mieux. Ces compositions sont dynamiques et s’inspirent des mises en scène hollywoodiennes.
Pilote privé, ses photos d’aéronefs expriment en toute intimité la relation particulière qu’il entretient avec ses jouets comme il aime à les appeler.
