In 1992, MJ was at the top of the basketball world. In the middle of his first career three-peat, the summer of ’92 saw him hit the global stage with the nation’s best. To outfit number 23 for the moment, Tinker Hatfield was tasked with creating patriotic colorways of the Air Jordan VII.
The mission led Hatfield to craft several options for MJ to wear. The selections included the original iteration released and worn by MJ in 1992, along with other options, including this edition featuring a heavily contrasted upper in a patriotic color palette.
