Neck: Voiced for woody, warm 1960s neck tones.
MiddleTypically Reverse-Wound/Reverse-Polarity (RWRP) for hum-canceling in positions 2 and 4.
BridgeSlightly hotter or calibrated specifically to balance out the extra string vibration at the bridge.
A treble bleed kit has been added to provide better tone by allowing the pickups to retain their glassy, articulate Fender sound even if you roll your volume back to 2 or 5.
These are highly regarded vintage-style pickups made to mimic the enamel-coated wire and Alnico 5 magnet profiles found in mid-1960s Stratocasters.
