I am offering for sale an outstanding Fender Telecaster Hot Rod ’50s Blonde, serial number 2015, an authentic End of Run Series example from the very last year of production.
This model has become increasingly desirable because it perfectly blends true 1950s Telecaster aesthetics with enhanced modern versatility. Built to the high standards of Fender, it features a beautifully resonant ash body finished in a translucent Blonde that showcases the natural grain.
One-piece maple neck with a substantial D profile, featuring a compound-radius maple fingerboard (7.25"–12") and 21 narrow jumbo frets, offering vintage feel with modern playability.
The iconic Hot Rod pickup configuration is the heart of this instrument, combining a warm, full-sounding neck humbucker (PAF-style) with a classic Telecaster bridge single-coil delivering all the bite, twang and clarity the model is famous for.
Most importantly, this guitar is equipped with a 4-way selector switch that dramatically expands the tonal palette.
Position 1 uses the bridge pickup alone, delivering the pure Tele sound that is sharp, articulate, bright and cutting, ideal for country, rock, funk and defined rhythm work.
Position 2 combines the bridge and neck pickups wired in parallel, producing the traditional Tele middle-position sound that is more open and balanced, perfect for clean chords, rhythm playing and classic Fender sparkle.
Position 3 engages the neck humbucker alone, resulting in a thicker, warmer and smoother tone, excellent for blues, jazz, rock leads and creamy overdrive.
Position 4 wires the bridge and neck pickups in series, delivering a noticeable output boost with stronger mids, more body and punch, ideal for pushing an amp harder, fattening up riffs or achieving a more powerful lead sound without using pedals.
All of this is controlled via the traditional Telecaster layout with master volume and tone. The guitar is fitted with a vintage-style Tele bridge with brass saddles for sustain and character, as well as vintage-style tuners ensuring tuning stability and period-correct looks. It resonates loudly and evenly unplugged, feels balanced and lively across the entire neck, remains 100% original with no modifications, and shows honest, natural aging consistent with its character.
