CARSTENS TOENNIESHOF "LUXUS" Range Handled Vase
This piece of West German pottery, characteristic of the "fat lava" era around of the 1960s or 1970s, featuring a distinctive red glaze, textured surface - a design is attributed to Dieter Peter. The vase has a bold, cylindrical body with an incised, scarification-style texture resembling reptile or moon-crater skin, enhanced by a vibrant red and black glaze. It features a small decorative handle and is often considered a statement piece. The condition is like new and even has its original label. There's just a small spot where the color came off (see last picture).
