Vintage Swatch from the Square collection, the rectangular plastic line Swatch produced from around 2000 (model family SUB). Caseback molding marked Swatch AG 2000, Swiss Made.
What it is exactly:
Transparent olive green "jelly" resin case, 28 x 42 mm including the strap lugs. Quartz movement with date window, battery type 377, visible through the transparent caseback. Brown resin link bracelet with original clasp and the two-tab strap fitting specific to the Square family. Note: any strap or bracelet from the Swatch Square (SUB) family fits this case; new old stock Square straps still turn up on eBay and Etsy.
Sold explicitly as defective / for repair or parts:
Battery is dead so the watch is currently not running (a fresh 377 cell may be all it needs, untested beyond that). Bracelet is broken/damaged on one side. Visible wear and scratches on the resin crystal and case. See photos.
Ideal as a restoration project, parts donor for the Square family, or a Y2K-era transparent design piece.
