Hi, up for sale is my vintage Marshall JCM 50/25W Model 2554 known as "Silver Jubilee" but in Black Tolex finish.
Made in 1988.
This amp is in used cosmetic condition.
The amp has been serviced, with new electrolytic capacitors, new preamp and power tubes, a new tube socket for V1, Lead potentiometer has also been replaced (the original was broken from the front), cleaning of all potentiometer, jack and tube sockets, and cleaning of all ground connections. These amps are a little bit hummy (when you push the master volume from 4 to 6 the hum appears, from 6 to 10 it is quite strong), and I have done everything possible to reduce it, including cable dressing, but the noise is inherent in the design.
The amp is rocking the original Celestion V12 8 Ohm speaker.
Footswitch is included but not the cable (a normal jack to jack will do it). Power cable is included.
Watch and listen to it at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZRK18mxL8ws&t=7s
Contact me for testing the amp if you like to.
The amp is sold as shown in pictures.
I will ship, but won't take any responsibility after it is handed to the Post.
This is a private sale, therefore no warranty, no refunds, no returns.
